Lumbok comes from “Mumbok” which in Tepehuan language means “do it another way” referring to our different way to produce comparing to the production process of Oaxaca. Maguey Cenizo is the primary agave available in Durango and in the region that Lumbok is produced.

Extraction: Mallet by hand
Ferment: Wood vats, ambient yeast, with fibers (3-6 days)
Distill: 2x filipino still (wood with copper condenser)
