Information about tequila brands, can be determined looking at the 4-digit number on every bottle of tequila, called the “NOM.” This number is assigned to the producer by the Mexican government and can be used to identify the distillery, individual person or corporation responsible for the production of the tequila.
February 17th 2020, we will be tasting the products of NOM 1579’s to showcase how one NOM can create multiple labels. NOM 1579 is one of my favorite producers due to their commitment to making tequila in a traditional way.
Join me to taste and discuss G4, Arte NOM 1579, Pasote and Terralta along with a family meal provided by Jose Alacron (Popol Vuh).
Welcome cocktail at 6pm followed by dinner and tasting at 6:30pm.
